Literally these two words have the same meaning, involving the coming together of a man and woman making use of those sacred organs to gain pleasure. Passionately, emotionally and mentally they are very different actions. One is an act, the other is an art.

  Now allow me introduce to you the very much differences between making love and having sex.

HAVING SEX:

  Having sex is a physical act that doesn’t often involve real feelings, deepest desires never found in this act. Also it involves having pleasure not necessarily with someone you love or even care about, all that applies is satisfying one’s lust. Cases like friends with benefit or one night stand.

  Having sex takes little time i.e. there is very little foreplay and intimacy after-wards, no holding, cuddling or whispering of sweet appreciating words after-wards. Sex is more like a quickie, one partner cum and the other doesn’t, painful. (it makes one feel cheap and not wanted, making you look like a sex symbol). The act can even be filmed, described, packaged and sold.

  Sex involves lust, sex is selfish, sex is satisfying that sheer lust and desire, thinking of oneself alone and not minding your partner’s emotional needs but when concern is shifted to the partner’s response, it is done so to prove their sexual prowess, the need to constantly reaffirm that they are very good in the act.

Bottom line: sex is hoppy hoppy and you are off.

MAKING LOVE:

  Love is profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.

  The art of love making involves so much passion that not everyone is privileged to feel such strokes. Love making is filled with passion, kissing, caressing and endless touching to make your partner know how much you care about them. Hot, sweaty, sensual, an intimate meeting specially made for two, lots of sweet time navigating through sensitive parts of the body with a kiss, lick, bite or nibble opening up endless flow of passion and emotions. Both partners breathing so slow, moaning so soft and seductive and your body yearning for more and more not wanting your partner to ever stop.

  Making love is a combination of foreplay, intercourse and intimacy; it’s a soul bonding connection where there is an exchange of sweet flow of juices and the deepest desires. You get lost in the carefree abandon of romance; you have to be in love to make love.

Positions: Having sex involves positions that are nasty and careless. (The D position). Making love involves positions where both bodies melt into each other. (The missionary position).

Soundtrack: Having sex involves songs that are noisy, bam bam crazy, but making love goes with soft songs, blues, soul e.g. (I’ll make love to you by Boys II Men).

Settings: In a room dim of light with sweet smells probably filled with candle lights that’s love making. It happened at the backseat of a car, an elevator, a kitchen etc. sex it is.
